Did Someone Say PARTY!?!

Friday Jan. 27th, Lee Harvey's, welcomes all of the skaters for an informal meet and greet! Snag a fireside picnic table and enjoy a low-key evening before the competition begins.

Saturday Jan. 28th Join us for the Exposition Park Saturday Night Block Party! This block party features three fun venues: The Amsterdam Bar, The Meridian Room and Pizza Lounge! The Amsterdam is a great live music venue with an extensive choice of beers and a full bar. The Meridian Room is a low-key bar, so if after a day of derby, you want to chill with your mates, this is your place. Pizza Lounge also has a great relaxed vibe with delicious pizzas including vegetarian and vegan choices.

Sunday night Jan. 29th will deliver an amazing after party at The Double Wide. Owned by a founding member of Assassination City, this place is legit! Known for the coldest beer, stiffest drinks and the best live music this side of the Trinity, it's a Dallas favorite. The Double Wide will be providing shuttle service from Fair Park to their doorstep. Graceland Ninjaz, a kick ass, high energy cover band with an Elvis impersonator front man, will be providing the after party entertainment. More Info...

  Here We Go...

The Texas Governors Cup is a 2-day flat track roller derby tournament that is sanctioned by the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA). Starting in 2006, the Governors Cup evolved into defining the best of Texas roller derby teams. Teams from Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, and now teams representing Oklahoma, Arkansas and New Mexico will duke it out to capture bragging rights until next year.

Assassination City Roller Derby will be hosting the tournament this year at historic Fair Park Colliseum, right in the hear of the State Fair of Texas grounds!
